CELEBRATE WITH A HEALTHY COCKTAIL!
Well, okay healthy may be pushing it. We know too much alcohol is not good, but in moderation, the Agave Pera created by Mixologist Joshua Holliday at Barolo Italian Restaurant is oozing Vitamin A, C and fiber from Pears, Pineapple and Citrus, while Ginger is great for digestion and speeding up that holiday metabolism. Besides, fun is always healthy.
- 1 oz Don Julio Blanco Tequila
- 1/4 oz Appleton Estate v/x Spiced Rum
- 1/2 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 1/2 oz Kerns Pear Nectar
- 1/4 of 1 Bosch Pear
- Small Piece Fresh Ginger
- Smoked Almond Rim
Muddle pear and ginger in rum.
Add all other ingredients and shake with ice.
To make almond rim, crush 3 smoked almonds with a pinch of granulated white sugar.
Use sugar water or lime juice to get almond mixture to adhere to glass.
Serve this cocktail in a chilled martini glass.
