Recommended by Bruce Pine, wine enthusiast and Senior Vice President of Steiner’s Resort Division.
With its deep ruby hue and subtle notes of sweet raspberry, cherry and dark chocolate, this wine is a perfect pairing for your sticky toffee pudding. The wine is fortified, so if kept in proper cellar conditions, can last
up to six months after opening and will develop Port-like characteristics. For those of you who do not like desert wines, then try the Justin 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles which received 90PTs from Wine Enthusiast. This Cabernet Sauvignon is dry and rich in black and red cherries, red currants and chocolate. According to the Winemaker, 2007 was a good year and this wine, win aromas of cherry, plumb, all spice, cinnamon, leather and forest floor fill the glass. Layers or red and black fruit are accented by vanilla, caramel and butterscotch.
- Justin Paso Robles Dessert Red $23.99
- Justin Cabernet Sauvignon $19.95
