When dealing with concerns of the skin, it's not always easy to figure out how much to apply. This is especially true when it comes to skin care beauty products, which must be used consistently enough to do their job but lend themselves to overuse.
When it comes to exfoliation, especially, many ladies are prone to overscrubbing. While it may be tempting to do so in order to obtain that clean, fresh-scrubbed feel every time, it's actually counter-productive if repeated more than once or twice a week, as it can make skin raw and sensitive.
Then again, it may also be advisable not to skimp on this process during the hot summer months. According to Allure.com, pores are larger in the summer, so an extra exfoliation session per week is a good idea, but remember - no more, no less.
