Similar to the rotation of wardrobes, there's something to be said about the importance of swapping out your makeup for the summer. You wouldn't continue wearing that same parka as the calendar flips to July, so why not treat your face to some new and improved beauty products that will take you through the warmer months with grace and aplomb?
If you're a foundation addict, put down the bottle and replace it with a primer and tinted moisturizer instead. While a good foundation will help you navigate most any season, primers typically stay on the face better and resist "melting off." They also even out texture, and given your natural sun-kissed glow, it may be best to let your skin show through by opting for a lighter tinted moisturizer instead.
As powder should be used more sparingly in the summer, it's also best to swap out your pressed blush for a cream formula. This won't actually make your face look shinier, but it'll give you a warm, dewy finish that's perfect for beating the heat.
If you haven't waterproofed your eye makeup yet, now's probably a good time to do so. Humid air and sweltering heat can wreak all sorts of havoc on mascara and eyeliner, but you can weather this with flying colors by purchasing H20-resistant products.
