Is it the '80s, or has neon made a comeback?

If you've been noticing the head-turning neon looks lighting the streets lately, don't panic! You haven't entered a 1980s time warp. According to Vogue beauty expert Ana Dra, neon is the new nude, and it's a statement you'll be seeing a lot more of as summer winds down and folks being revving up for fall. From canary-colored eyes to hot pink lips, you're sure to see even more bright hues as the season progresses.

Jazz up your pout with eye-catching bright tropical colors, persimmon, orange, pink or fuschia.

Nails are another surface where you can play with neons that really pop. Make a statement by applying a professional nail polish like CND Bolds, which comes in a variety of shades, including eclectic purple, bicycle yellow, green scene, anchor blue and electric orange.

Finally, give your eyes a little extra glamor by choosing bold and inviting shades, such as a bright blue medley or a mix of blues, yellows and pinks.

Make sure you get the most out of the neon fashion trend this season - there's no telling when such a audacious phase will reappear!
