First date makeup looks

No matter how much dating experience you have you're still entitled to feel those first-date jitters. In fact, sometimes those butterflies can remind you of just how much you like the person you're about to see. But the last thing you should have to worry about is what's on your face.

Here are a few tips on how to apply the perfect first-date touches, so you can focus on more important things when the time comes:

1. Don't overdo it. You know you're beautiful, and he does too! Instead of emphasizing each and every detail choose one feature to focus on, such as your eyes or lips. That way, he'll see the effort you've put in, but you won't look like you're trying too hard.

2. Go glossy. Whether you're wearing lipstick or not, lip gloss is a must for first dates. It adds a hint of moisture and shine and definitely makes you look more kissable.

3. Take it easy on the perfume. If you want to get a little close, the worst thing you can do is apply too much scent! Stick to something light, breezy and not too overpowering.
