Developing a makeup look to complement the polka dot trend

This fall, the runway was covered by models in chic polka dot looks as designers updated the aesthetic and give it a modern vibe. Leading fashion experts loved the contributions to this trend from Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg, David Koma, Dolce and Gabbana and Stella McCartney, Elle magazine reports.

When sporting makeup with such a daring and eye-catching print, you need to decide which road you want to travel: an understated nude look or a bold colored lip.

Virtually any polka dot design will fare well when paired with natural-looking makeup products. Consider adding a little extra eyeliner, perhaps a winged tip or any other silhouette that appeals to you.

To cap off the statement, consider using CND Nail Colour Neutrals to create a uniform tone. Remember to use a top and base coat every time you paint your nails.

If the garment has a striking hue united with the very conservative fabric, continue to push the envelope by applying a lip stain in the same color.
