Easy fixes for the most annoying beauty woes

Easy fixes for the most annoying beauty woes

You might think you look like a boss on some mornings - until you suddenly look down at your nails and realize some are chipped. Small issues like these might seem mundane, but can totally knock you off your game and make you feel less confident.

The beauty and fashion experts at Marie Claire magazine recently listed the best ways to solve common beauty woes in a flash, so you can go on feeling fabulous without missing a beat.

Manicure mayhem
There is perhaps nothing worse than looking down at your professional nail polish and realizing there is some chipping going on. Instead of getting anxious and stressed out about the issue, simply grab some rubbing alcohol and apply it directly over the nail with the problem. The gurus at the magazine report this step helps remove any oil on the nail, without taking off more of the color. From here, apply a spot of the matching color like CND Nail Colour - Reds in Dark Ruby, wait two minutes, and finish with a quick top coat application.

Ladies who are prone to chipping their nails might want to refrain from bold colors and instead opt for more neutral shades to better hide imperfections should they arise on the go.

Makeup that won't stay put
It's no secret that applying makeup and having it stay in one place all day are two different things. Most ladies have experienced the horror of checking themselves out in the bathroom mirror at work only to realize their eyeshadow is running or their lipstick is now on their cheek. Such mishaps are not only embarrassing, but unfortunately hard to avoid.

Luckily, Marie Claire reports there are ways to fix this problem in a flash. First off, it when you're on the go, it can be smarter to avoid using beauty products like makeup remover, since these products are meant to erase all makeup, not just the trouble spot.

Instead, it is better to carry around an oil-free primer and a few Q-tips to fix the issue. Use the primer to erase the issue, without making a bigger mess. Concealers and products like the Colorescience Corrector Palette - Light to Medium, work equally as well on the go. Simply store these items in your purse to feel protected against any makeup woes that come your way.
