What if there is more than one issue?
On the same note, it's important to figure out if there are multiple problems causing you to feel more emotional. For example, you might have gotten into an argument with your husband, leading you to get angry and upset. However, it might not have really been something between you and your man that sparked your bad mood, but rather it's the way you decided to release some of your negative energy - the issue behind your cranky mood could have actually stemmed from a problem with a co-worker or even an issue with your child's teacher. 

Take time to relax
After you've figured out and resolved the issue at hand, it's time to reward yourself with some relaxation and de-stressing techniques.
