Get the hottest fall makeup runway trends

While it might be difficult to score the haute couture threads from the fall 2013 runway shows, the makeup looks are completely attainable on any budget. From Versace to Armani, the season's must-have cosmetic trends are decidedly enviable yet perfectly recreatable. Here are some beauty tips on how to look like you just stepped off the catwalk:

Sparkly lips
Wine might be the hottest lip color this fall, but if the Dior show is any indicator, don't be afraid to add a glittery touch. You can achieve this look by coating your lips in a maroon or burgundy-hued lip gloss, setting the color with a theatrical adhesive gel, and then sprinkling specks of copper, gold or pink glitter - yes, loose glitter - all over your pout. Applying the sparkles with a small brush and toxin-free glue will give you a more precise and artful touch. Or, simply look for a shiny lip gloss that features eye-catching sparkles. Either way, the look is a perfect addition to any night-out ensemble.

Sky grazing lashes
Actress Zooey Deschanel might have been rocking false eyelashes for the last few years, but now, luxurious sky-high lashes are a season must have. Versace makeup artist Pat McGrath told Allure magazine that she glued one and a half rows of fake lashes to the models' upper lashlines, creating a stunning effect. While that may be a bit much for your daily routine, don't be afraid to go the extra length. First, boost your lashes with a curler, then generously apply several layers of a velvety black mascara on both your lower and upper lashlines. Clump-free products that use a slightly curved brush tend to have the best long-lasting volumizing effect.

Bushy brows
While no one wants a unibrow, it might be time to stop those waxing and threading appointments. Full, thick brows have made a comeback, so give your fine hairs a break and let them grow out a bit. Fortunately, those with naturally thin arches can fake the thick eyebrow with a little help from powders and pencils. Choose an eyebrow liner within two shades of your natural color - or darker, if you want the drama - and fill in the gaps between hairs with quick, short strokes. Then, shape the brows with a pressed powder, such as the Colorscience Brow Palette, blending the color along your arches with an angled brush. For extra full brows, Chanel makeup artist Peter Philips suggested brushing an ash-brown eyeshadow over the brows and then combing it through with a spoolie to even out the color.
