Are you taking care of business?

Are you taking care of business?

Taking your makeup off at the end of the day is just as important as putting it on. Your skin is alive in a very real sense, and it's constantly trying to absorb what it comes into contact with. Why? For a variety of reasons, all of which have to do with the natural balance your skin is trying to strike with the oils it produces to keep you cool, young and radiant.

If you aren't helping the process along, you might be hurting it. Never fear, however - with just a little makeup remover and a few skin care products, you'll be well on your way to a smooth, healthy complexion in no time.

First of all, make sure you're cleaning off your makeup thoroughly. If you don't have the time or the means to use a liquid cleanser, at least use the FreshSkin by Elemis Make-Up Away Cleansing Wipes. Then, follow it up with your night cream of choice to ensure that any temporary dehydration caused by the foundation is taken care of while you're sleeping. In the morning, supercharge your beauty routine with a protective primer, such as the Colorescience Skin Brightening Face Primer SPR 20 - Line Tamer.
