The season's turning and it's time to revamp your wardrobe for fall. Don't delay - embrace the five trends below and have the perfect outfits ready for all the pumpkin-spice-latte drinking and apple picking that's to come!
1. Leather jackets
A good leather jacket never really goes out of style, but this fall they're going to be in extra-sharp focus. Go classic with sleek lines, buttery leather and high-quality construction, or take a statement-making turn in a red rendition, as Harper's Bazaar showcased here. Speaking of red ...
2. Red everything
According to ELLE magazine, red is the It color of the season. Whether with a classy scarlet coat, a rouge head-to-toe ensemble or oxblood boots, you can't go wrong with dramatic and flattering red this autumn.
3. Western boho
Channel a Little Hippie on the Prairie with flowy, Western-inspired outfits with a modern, laid-back twist. Try dramatic, floral maxi dresses, tall brown boots with stacked heels and billowy white tops anchored by of-the-moment denim.
4. Faux fur
Cozy up for those brisk fall nights with lots of faux fur. Don't be afraid of oversized fur coats in a range of fun shades, from pink to electric blue. But if you want to stay classic, choose black or brown fur corralled by a wide leather belt to frame your waist.
5. Indoor wear as outerwear
Loungewear and PJs will have a big moment this fall as they go from the bedroom to the sidewalk, as Cosmopolitan reports. Pair a silky, high-end pajama set with leather loafers or pumps, or, to make the look a little more grounded, sport one loungewear item with a more everyday piece, for example, a slip dress with a fur coat or a pajama top tucked casually into an elegant pair of black cigarette pants.
