The heart of the Mediterranean diet is a lifestyle concept where filling your plate with fruits and vegetables, beans, nuts, fish, olive oil, small amounts of meat, dairy, and red wine (of course) are key!

This antioxidant-rich diet is all about eating fresh, making our favorite Mediterranean salads a perfect accompaniment to maintaining healthy skin.

Easy Greek

Indulge in the simplicity of a classic Greek salad. Chopped cucumber’s caffeic acid helps soothe skin irritations and reduce swelling. To your liking, throw in a bit of tomato, kalamata olives, red onion, and Feta cheese!

For the dressing, whisk together 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar, the juice of 1/2 a lemon, 1 tsp. dried oregano, a pinch of kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste with 1/4 c. olive oil and voila!

Refreshing Watermelon Feta Salad

Why not replenish your skin's H20 with cubed seedless watermelon, chopped cucumber, red onion, crumbled Feta cheese, coarsely chopped mint and flaky sea salt.

For the dressing, whisk together a 1/4 cup of olive oil, 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar and 1/2 tsp. kosher salt. You'll make it faster than you can say, "ahhh."

Gluten-Free Quinoa Tabbouleh

Craving something else? This salad is packed with essential amino acids and riboflavin to improve skin elasticity. Can you say anti-aging? To put this delight together, combine 1 cup of cooked quinoa with 1 cup of finely chopped flat-leaf parsley, green onion, grape tomatoes, and 1 chopped cucumber

To top it off, there is a delicious dressing. Whisk together the juice of 1 lemon, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt, black pepper to taste and a pinch of crushed red chili flakes.
