Do-it-yourself hair products for your at-home spa treatment

Next time you're giving yourself a spa treatment, don't forget about your hair! Sure, you may have all the essentials: Mandara Spa incense, Elemis skincare bath elixirs and awesome Bliss products. Your skin will be in heaven, but what about your hair? You can give it a spa treatment too with this simple recipe.

Hair mask
1 or 2 eggs, depending on how long your hair is
1 avocado
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of olive oil.
Directions: Beat the egg(s) thoroughly in a bowl until they're well-blended. These will help nourish your hair and repair damage by giving your hair plenty of protein. Peel and cut up the avocado and put it in a blender until it's a nice puree. These will give your hair vitamins B, E and K, which it needs to stay healthy. Mix in the honey and the olive oil into the avocado paste to moisturize your hair. Whisk this mixture in with the egg.

To use, simply apply the mask from your hair roots to the ends. If you have an oily scalp, start a little further down. Put your hair up on top of your head and wrap it with a shower cap or saran wrap for twenty-five minutes. Rinse it out with warm water before shampooing and conditioning as usual. Your hair will feel luscious!
