Try an Audrey Hepburn-inspired updo

Classic beauty Audrey Hepburn was one of the most influential beauty icons during her time, but her most iconic look comes from her role in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." May 4 marked what would be the starlet's 85th birthday, so to celebrate in style, consider recreating her legendary 'do with these simple steps.

Before you begin, be sure to grab all the necessary hair products, including hair ties, bobby pins and a firm styling gel. The Steiner Jelly Whip Styling Gel 150 ml is an ideal option, as it can not only create additional body for those with fine hair, but it also repairs your tresses as it holds them in place throughout the day.

To begin, separate your hair into two layers: one that encompasses the bulk of your hair, and another that is comprised of two sections from the front of your head. If you have bangs, those count as your front layer - if not, be sure to separate these locks from the rest of your style. Using a comb, brush back the remainder of your hair and use a bit of styling gel to hold it in place. From there, craft a simple bun by tying your hair back, then wrapping the pony tail around the base of the tie and securing with another band. Once the back of your 'do is done, secure the front strands using bobby pins and a little more gel. Garnish with a sparkling barrette to add a little sophistication to this style.
